I've been coming here since 2015 to grab boba and snacks but recently I've been coming here to study and I've been really impressed! The ambience of the boba shop gives off a very chill vibe and allows you to really get into the zone and do your work! But it is very crowded and small so I always have to test my luck with finding tables.
DRINKS: I always get their Honey Green Milk Tea with Boba! Their boba is soft and chewy and warm.
SNACKS: Popcorn Chicken and Garlic Fries! Their garlic fries IMO is one of the best items they have. They do charge an additional 25¢ if you want sweet n sour sauce! -

We came for lunch and the food was pretty good and the portions were huge at a very affordable price. The ambiance was nice and had a nice little hipster cafe vibe to it. Each dish was around $8.50 and definitely can feed one person.
Things went sour after our lunch. We ordered drinks to go and the cashier told us that we could wait in the other room and they would call our number. We waited and waited and after about 20 minutes or so I went up to the register and asked if our drinks were ready.
lady employee with the short hair said: "yes..its been ready" (with a very unpleasant attitude)
me: "oh sorry, we didnt hear anyone call our number and that we were waiting in the other room"
lady: "well we called it alot of times...." (with even more attitude)
I know the words werent exactly that disrespectful, but she had a very dismissive attitude and it seemed that we were causing her trouble. After that, we started seeing her come to the other room to call out orders....
Also drinks were hella bland and watered down... -

It is my go-to spot in Alhambra to catch up with friends and on work. Great food spots nearby! -

Decided to give this place a try and when pulling up to park right in front, I saw a huge group of people sitting outside AND a line out the door! That's already saying something.
The service was good. The high school boy at the cashier was very helpful when I told him that it was my first time and he made recommendations. I ordered an almond milk (black) tea with pudding. I was shocked to see a LARGE size drink and I only paid $3.75 for it??? In LA that would be at least $6. That alone makes this place totally worth it.
The almond milk tea was pretty good, and I got 50% sweetness and any more would have been too sweet. The pudding was a little iffy though. Now I'm not sure if it was the milk tea or the pudding but something tasted pretty powdery and a bit chalky, and I think it was the pudding. I've had really smooth and light puddings elsewhere but unfortunately here it was not as good as I had hoped.
Overall good experience and decent drinks. Convenient 15 minute parking right in front for those just picking up drinks. -

3.5 Stars. Finally came by tonight. I got a potted plant milk tea because I think the aesthetics of the drink is cute and I wanted to try it. The potted plant milk tea is basically regular black milk tea with crushed oreo on top and there is supposed to be a leaf coming out of the oreos, so that the drink looks like a plant. Sadly my milk tea did not have the leaf and when I asked they said they ran out. I was kind of disappointed. Lol.
Nevertheless, the drink was good so I will likely return to try some of the other milk teas I was eyeing, like the lavendar milk tea and the rose milk tea.
I came back the next night and got a lavendar milk tea. I did not like it at all because it tasted incredibly watered down. I ended up tossing it and ordering the potted plant milk tea again after making sure they actually had the plant part of the drink, and I asked for it in their Mason jar glasses instead. Once again the drink was good, and I actually got a cute photo out of it today. Lol :)
